I paid about $35 for this watch.
I have owned it for about a week now and it is a good simple smart watch. I have a 6inch wrist and feel this face size is pretty good but would work on larger wrist too- the strap can accommodate pretty large.
I use this watch mainly for quickly checking texts and emails, seeing who is calling, and obviously for the time.
You cannot reply to texts/emails, answer a call (can decline them), set alarms in watch (can via the required Heroband III phone app) nor can you play music/sound from the watch.
The Heroband phone app is required to be installed and open on your phone at all times in order to log data (sleep, steps, heart rate etc)
I find It doesn’t consistently wake when you raise your arm to check it.
It does vibrate when you receive notifications (you can swipe to read through a long notification like text or email for example)
I am extremely sceptical on the accuracy of heart rate, blood pressure, and blood oxygen measurements but haven’t compared them to more expensive or professional medical devices (an unnoticeable when wearing green light does quickly flash on the back now and then indicating measurement taking).
The step counter seems to differ a times of +1000-1500 from my iphone 13s step counter but I will need to exercise and test further!
The find my phone feature only makes the phone vibrate no matter what setting the watch or phone is in. (Which is usually useless if you cant find your phone!)
The variety of optional faces is pretty good, some good ones, mainly weird ones, and except for a couple they are overall not customizable in colours and info displayed – are stuck with whatever the face designer picked to show.
It is apparently NOT waterproof so no showers or swimming/baths. I haven’t tested it water wise but from looking at other reviews and reading the product page I would say a light rain is the most it should be exposed to if at all.
It is charged via a two pin magnet that attaches to two points on the back of the watch- they come lose if jostled but it charges fairly quickly and lasts near a week on a single charge with medium brightness and medium use.
In conclusion, if you’re looking for an affordable and basic smart watch this is a great option overall. It is generally quick, easy, and has a fairly crisp screen.
