I upgraded to a new phone that didn’t have a headphone jack, which left me in search of a new pair of headphones that could connect wirelessly. I stumbled across these and, after reading the reviews, decided to try them out. I’m really happy I did!
Favorite features:
– Battery lasts FOREVER. Granted, I don’t use them very frequently, but in the 6 months or so that I’ve had them, I think I’ve charged them three times. I believe the last time I charged them was before going on vacation a month ago, and I don’t believe I ended up using them, but I just turned them on now (one month later) and they are still at 100% charge. I have worn them a couple times for long sessions listening to music or watching shows, and I’ve never had the battery run out on me. They’re pretty quick to charge, too.
– Comfort: These cup over my ears really nicely. My old headphones rested on my ears and would make them hurt after a while, but these fit over them instead, which means I can comfortably wear them for longer. They also have padding on the top, which is really nice (and a feature my old headphones were lacking).
– Quality: These headphones have a really nice weight to them that speaks to the quality. My old headphones feel flimsy in comparison. All of the materials feel sturdy and high quality. When I fold them up and put them in my bag, I’m not worried about them getting damaged or breaking.
– Sound: The sound on these is really nice. I haven’t had much opportunity to play with the different settings, but everything I’ve listen to through them has sounded good. Nothing to complain about.
– Easy pairing: They are super easy to pair with my phone and laptop. It’s a simple switch and they connect quickly.
Shortcomings:
– It’s difficult to use the buttons when wearing the headphones. They aren’t tactile, so unless you have the positions memorized (which I don’t yet), it can be hard to tell which is which. It’s easy to accidentally press the wrong one and get random music blaring out from the radio feature (this has only happened to me once, but once was enough). I wish there was a tactile indicator of where the buttons are so it would be easier to find the ones I need.
– Probably just a personal thing, but I’d like it if these had a tactile indicator of right and left side as well. My old headphones had the letters L and R in Braille on each side, so I could feel which side was which just by touch. I’ve caught myself trying to do that a few times with these, but sadly, they don’t have that feature.
I’m really happy with these headphones overall. They’re exactly what I needed at a price that didn’t wreck my wallet. I’d definitely recommend these!
