Well rounded quality product

The good: amazing, you can really see the 10-bit colour when watching certain videos and the viewing angles are superb. A quality IPS panel. The stand is made out of metal (huge plus) and the frame is classy and immersive. Also 0 dead pixels on my unit.

The bad: This product was almost just as advertised, bit my user manual was in korean only (not english at all). Also the screw that was supposed to connect the monitor to the stand was metric…, but the screw connection was not made for a metric screw. This was pretty ridiculous, but after spending 2 hours trying to get the original screw in it in I had to go to the hardware store and buy a proper screw.

The ugly: Nothing, the monitor is gorgeous.

Maybe toss in a free displayport cable so people can immediately experience 75hz.

Overall this is a 5 star only because I am rating for the monitor quality and not for the minor inconvenience I had to go through.

I wish I bought this a year ago. The crackle in my connection is gone! I use this to connect into car audio that is missing Bluetooth via aux connection. Sometimes I just connect straight to my phone usually connect a rechargeable bluetooth receiver on the mini jack side.

Best value for a 4K monitor. Double layered screens, so you may get one with a scratch (looks like a crack) but really when the screens are fused together this naturally occurs😓. Other than that, the screen menu is in Korean I believe but if you use the toggle menu on the monitor I think it is the third selection after you press the menu button you can change the language to one you prefer. Don’t sleep on Wasabi-Mango

I have to say I’m pleased with the purchase, although I have noted a couple of small issues common to the 3.5mm mini – RCA male cables that spans all brands (that I’ve used &/or seen in person). From better known companies such as Belden to AudioQuest, the generic brands, up to the current Choseal, all are either sleeved which ends up with a cable that is way to rigid or lacking in strain relief and eventually suffer from an open condition. Worse even, a dead short. Minor niggle; worthy of note however that no one, bar none, has a perfect solution to the problem.

The only other issue I might mention is that no one company, ever has a good connection style between the barrel of the connector, and the tip. Fortunately, a small drop of thick cyanoacrylate in the barrel before screwing it back down permanently fixes that issue. I’d certainly like to see this step incorporated by the manufacturers, or even a set screw to stop rotation, but none do more’s the pity.

We’ll save the discussion on the base metal of the connectors, CuZn-vs.-Cu-vs.-Ag for another day. At this price point, it matters not.
