When at the gym, if I was exercising on a cross trainer like an elliptical or treadmill, one that monitors your heart rate when through its heart rate monitor, I would look at the heart rate on my watch as I exercised and there was a huge disparity. For instance, the first time it happened the heart rate on the elliptical read 112, I looked at my watched and it read 172 and was in the red. I quickly stopped as I was terrified, I was on the verge of a cardiac arrest. Each time it would happen, I was terrified. As a 67-year-old disabled Veteran I monitor my heart rate, blood pressure closely. I submitted what I thought would n easy fix through Amazon to the company asking for an exchange since I only had the watch for a short time. Explaining what the issue is, they said they should be able to fix with software update. I updated to the latest version as they requested, it was not corrected. I asked for an exchange, and nothing happen. Amazon ask if the solution worked, and I said “NO”. I was tired of the back and forth with a multi-billion-dollar corporation who did not want to exchange a $49.00 watch. So, I would be careful as the data integrity, in particular is also used to monitor sleep quality. As I have Obstructive Sleep Apnea or OSA, I explained this to the SKG that this was also impacting those numbers. In October I suffered an event at the VA while getting a BIOPSY, the day before Thanksgiving I had a catheter removed! December 5th I was diagnosed with cancer and awaiting treatment. I received watch in late September or October while dealing with health issues as such could not go to the gym to realize there was a problem with watch. Part of my tools to help me help myself was a tool I could wear on my wrist that could monitor some of these indicators 24/7. I was very disappointed with SKG and Amazon for not at a minimum exchanging. I could not recommend the watch given my problems and SKG/Amazon providing follow-up or feedback. Sorry, frustrated customer.
